Welcome to my website

I’m a Kinesiology PhD candidate at the University of Virginia interested in using wearable sensors to improve health outcomes and increase physical activity with age.

My academic research is focused on gait retraining. I am currently measuring how it can be used to limit pain, decrease joint loading, and encourage physical activity in individuals with knee osteoarthritis.

I can often be found piloting with new sensors or tinkering in Python, R, or Matlab.
